Posted on March 1, 2023

There are three main types of influenza viruses: A, B, and C. Influenza B virus can easily spread from person to person. It is less severe than influenza A. Fever, usually above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, is a common sign of the influenza virus. Each year, it causes seasonal outbreaks.

In the United States, there has been a significant rise in the number of cases of influenza, also known as the flu. Precautions for maintaining your health are discussed by experts.

People have been experiencing painful coughs as a result of a significant rise in influenza cases over the past few weeks. People have been advised to take a variety of precautions and immune-boosting measures to maintain their health.

Experts in the field of health have attributed this sudden rise in influenza to low immunity as well as the widespread disapproval of annual flu shots in the country. According to Dr. Akshay Budhraja, Senior Consultant, Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, Aakash Healthcare, a significant number of influenza patients have experienced prolonged coughing after the flu.

Between September and January, the West was affected by influenza A (H1N1)pdm09, A (H3N2), and influenza B viruses that were circulating in several nations.
